Is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who had been an Emergency nurse for more than 40 years with clinical, management and education experience in a variety of hospitals including: Critical Access Hospitals (CAH), community hospitals, a suburban center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year and academic medical centers.  Trauma Center experience includes: Trauma Program Manager of Kansas’ largest American College of Surgeons (ACS) Level I Trauma Center, development of an ACS Level III Trauma Center, assisted in development of an ACS Level II Trauma Center & assisting in the development of Level III & IV Trauma Centers across Kansas and in other states. She is also an instructor for the American Trauma Society’s Trauma Program Manager Course; AHA Regional Faculty for BLS, ACLS, ACLS- EP and PALS; Faculty for TNCC and ENPC; and an Instructor for PHTLS and RTTDC.
